It was a nice place for one night, had fun time. Had an electric kettle, climate control, and a personal safe in my well-maintained room. The beds with down pillows were comfortable. Location: the hotel was next to the attractions nearby, the restaurant, and the mountain. No complaints, I truly enjoyed the stay and would stay here again.

The dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious, with a variety of fresh local cuisine served in small portions. The hotel's location was convenient, with a bus station just one minute away and easy access to nearby attractions with a Hakone day pass. the staff, especially a friendly trainee waitress, provided attentive service during meals.
The lack of communication about the closure of the outdoor hot spring for renovation, which was only shared at the last minute. It would have been better to inform guests in advance, as this may have influenced their decision to stay at the hotel.

The hotel's location is convenient with a bus stop just a minute away. most of the attractions require a bus or sightseeing bus ride which can be expensive if you don't buy a day pass. the room rate is reasonable, and the food at the dinner and breakfast buffets is fresh and local. the small plates/bowls serve just the right-sized portions. the hotel staff is helpful and friendly.
The outside hot spring was closed, which was not communicated to us until the last minute.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The breakfast and dinner buffets were definitely one of the best aspects of my trip. The food was delicious and varied, with many options to choose from. The hotel staff were also very friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The hotel location was also very convenient, close to public transportation and in a beautiful setting.
Almost perfect. No negative experiences to report!

The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet at this Onsen hotel were great. There was an abundance of choices and everything was fresh. the location is also very convenient, with a bus stop just a minute away. Plus, it's easy to get to all the local attractions by bus.
We were disappointed to find out that the outdoor hot spring was closed for renovation and we were only informed at the last minute. It should have been communicated earlier on, as such a big renovation would have required approvals and planning.
